Montage Wedding: Adelina & Dan

So often the Chardonnay Room at Montage is used for ceremonies and cocktail hours, however Adelina and Dan had other ideas. Not only was the space where they exchanged vows, it was flipped to also be their dance space for their wedding reception. While guests enjoyed their dinner service our team worked diligently to transform the space from ceremony to reception party.

This wedding had less than 70 guests, but it had every element many come to expect with larger affairs. Guests enjoyed butler passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour before being seated in the Champagne Room. The Special Occasion Package the couple chose included food stations, but instead of making their entire event that style, Adelina and Dan served a plated salad course too.

Our two favorite aspects of this event are their use of the space and their wedding cake. Many cakes are decorated with fondant and florals- but not theirs! Macaroons not only taste amazing, they made the cake more colorful too. Here are a few of our favorite photo from their day:

Hors D’oeuvres
Avocado deviled eggs, smoked paprika, micro herb
Eggplant ‘cannelloni’, boursin, pine nuts, red pepper basil relish

First Course

Kahn’s pepper spiced beef tenderloin, roasted shallot demi glace, horseradish cream
Beef tenderloin with fennel peppercorn crust, chianti demi glace, horseradish cream and dijon aioli
Garlic and herb roasted turkey breast, mustard sage aioli, cranberry compote

Sides Station
Lobster Mac N’ Cheese
Bacon braised brussel sprouts
Baby ratatouille, patty pan squash, baby zuccini, cipollini onion, roasted grape tomato

New England Seafood Station
Kahn’s clam chowder, oyster crackers
Blue lump crab cakes, lemon caper remoulade
Applewood smoked bacon wrapped scallop, lemon herb butter
Maine lobster salad slider

 Third Course
Vanilla cake, raspberry coulis, vanilla buttercream filling
