Valerie & Grant’s Rehearsal Dinner at Eiteljorg

One of the best ways to enjoy an Indiana summer is to be outside. What is even better than that? Enjoying an evening outside under the Sails at Eiteljorg Museum with a buffet and donut station to kick off a joyous wedding weekend. Especially if it’s a rehearsal dinner that transports us to a tropical paradise like Grant and Valerie’s.

The moment guests stepped outside at Eiteljorg Museum they were instantly swept away with mai tais and the sounds of a steel drum band in the upper garden. Cocktail hour had several options featuring fresh fish and meat, including an iced seafood display loaded with crab claws, oysters and shrimp. Following a welcome to all guests, everyone moved to the Sails for a dinner buffet and slide show commemorating the couple.

Hors d’oeuvres
Blackened tuna nigiri, wasabi aioli, tobiko

strawberry grand marnier dip

Black bean & cucumber salad, cumin lime vinaigrette

Assorted breads and lemon rosemary flatbread with sun dried tomato butter and french butter balls

Mojo marinated swordfish, mango sweet chili sauce

Kid’s Meal

Donut Sundae Bar
Freshly-made hot mini cake donuts dusted in cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar
Chocolate and vanilla ice cream
Caramel, hot fudge, maple whipped cream, bavarian cream, banana pudding, banana chips, chocolate covered bacon, sprinkles, fresh berry compote, chopped peanuts, cherries, toffee crumbles
