Greg + CJ at Indiana State Museum

Just like their photographer, Crystal Keyes said, “All you need is love… and a little Vera!” Greg and CJ had an absolutely stunning Indiana State Museum wedding and these men were dressed in their best with a little help from Vera Wang. Donning grey suits and Converse All-Star sneakers, their grey and purple color scheme fit in very well with the natural structures and décor of the museum – as if they were made for one another.

Every detail was meticulously planned from their bow ties to the table linen and the floral on their wedding cake. No element was spared, creating a picture-perfect event to remember for years to come. The day began at a local hotel where the grooms and their bridal party readied themselves before arriving at the Indiana State Museum for the ceremony.

Greg and CJ were married on Ball Family Terrace. Their celebration of marriage was truly a celebration of two families becoming one together. They exchanged vows against a backdrop of a small pergola adorned in purple floral. After their first kiss as husbands, guests ascended the stairs to the Upper Café Terrace for cocktail hour while the newlyweds and their bridal party took time for photos along the canal.

Stepping into the O’Bannon Family Great Hall following the ceremony guests and grooms were greeted by a beautiful landscape of white resin chairs framed by grey pin tuck linen covered tables with purple napkins, all centered by mixed bouquets featuring the colors of the evening. Greg and CJ made their grand introduction down the large staircase and the party truly began.

First Course
Kahn’s salad with mixed field greens, candied almonds, onion confit, tomatoes and roasted red pepper

 Second Course

Cider marinated chicken breast with chipotle demi glace
Lemon herb marinated atlantic salmon with capers and chardonnay cream

Asparagus with stem on organic carrots and julienne of red bell peppers

Third Course
Vanilla cake with white chocolate ganache filling
Strawberry cake with vanilla cream and strawberry buttercream filling

Vanilla cake with white chocolate buttercream filling
House blend and decaffeinated coffee with cream, raw sugar, splenda and stevia

Guests danced the night away to the sounds of DJ Indiana Jones and enjoyed a photo booth provided by Viral Booth of Indianapolis. The sweetest of endings was their multi-tiered wedding cake with four different flavors and a candy bar for guests to take treat for the road home.

Both grooms let their personalities shine throughout the planning process, truly making us smile every time they came to our office.  They had an incredible day filled with laughter and love, surrounded by their closest friends and fmaily. We wish them a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations Greg and CJ!
