Tribute to Judy O’Bannon at Indiana State Museum

The Indiana State Museum hosted former First Lady Judy O’Bannon at their annual Tribute Dinner, bestowing their most prestigious honor, the Heritage Keeper Award. This recognition highlights Judy O’Bannon’s service to the state and her efforts towards community service that show her Hoosier spirit. O’Bannon is the fifth person to receive this award. Each annual Tribute Dinner is a fundraising event supporting exhibition and dynamic programming for visitors and students from around the state for the Indiana State Museum. This year’s Tribute attracted 315 supporters.

The evening began with butler passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a plated meal and awards presentation. When guests entered the O’Bannon Great Hall of Indiana State Museum they were greeted by light colored linens and gold chiavari chairs accented by white Spring floral centerpieces. Each table was preset with both the first and third courses so that guests could enjoy as they were seated.
