My career path was totally different than where I am today.  I came to a point where in college I took an aptitude test just to see where I should be…..believe it or not, this was number two on the list and my total calling.  I love what I do for many reasons.  I get to be creative, take honor in being a part in someone’s life at a very important time in their lives. But most of all I am able to educate them in the best products and services in the industry.  I have been with Kahn’s Catering for many years through several stages and steps and know this strengthens my knowledge to sell. Most of all I respect and appreciate the talents and commitment from the family of people that work for Kahn’s Catering, it takes ALL of us to make the entire event happen.  I would have to say that my greatest special event would have to be the Superbowl here in Indy.  I have never done anything on that level in my entire career and the fact that Kahn’s Catering was selected to service this amazing organization was a once in a lifetime experience.  I am sure that I could write a book and no one would ever believe it….

I’ve always been a foodie. Even as a child I was a foodie. Always willing to try different cuisines and explore new flavors. Growing up I would follow my grandmother around for tea parties and ladies lunches. Watching her dote on every detail to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. As the family party planner, becoming an Event Coordinator, while a natural move, fell into my lap. Originally I was a florist! During that time I was also the member of a gourmet dinner club and another women in the club owned a catering company. Together she and I would create delicious food displays and the rest is history! After several years in the hospitality industry I have cultivated a wealth of knowledge and experience from catering sales to being a food and beverage director to being the director of catering for other organizations. My experience at Kahn’s is unsurpassed and every day there is the opportunity to learn more and stay on top of catering trends and services. Working in hospitality is always something I have enjoyed and the reward of seeing happy couples and clients is what truly makes this all worthwhile. I specialize in multi-cultural and theme weddings and events, but enjoy corporate event planning as well.

jessiJessi Warner, Event Coordinator
For some reason, I wanted to be a doctor. But anyone that knows me fully understands that planning events is what I was meant to do. They will tell you that I love attending a great party, but more so, I love creating them. From event design, to coordination, to execution I truly infuse my passion for planning into my clients events, creating unique ideas to take their gathering to the next level. I received my bachelors degree from Indiana University in Tourism, Conventions, and Event Management and currently serve on the Advisory Board for the School of Physical Education and Tourism Management. Even my daughter witnesses my love for events each year when her birthday comes around. She might think I’m her crazy mom, but I know she is always looking forward to what I might think up and surprise her with. Some of my favorite special details for any event large or small are candy tables and accent lighting with drapery! Bring the wow factor with something perfectly pink and I’m one happy Event Coordinator!
