Indy Chamber Annual Event at IMA

For another spectacular year, Kahn’s Catering had the pleasure of working with the Indy Chamber for their Annual Event. This the must-attend event for Indianapolis business professionals. This is the prime networking opportunity in a fun, relaxed atmosphere held in 2015 at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Attendees enjoyed Enjoy food and drinks and heard from a high-profile speaker, Rebecca Ryan, founder of Next Generation Consulting and author of ReGeneration: A Manifesto for America’s Next Leaders at an exclusive dinner party. This year Indy Chamber celebrates its 125th anniversary!



The evening began in the magnificent Pulliam Great Hall where guests enjoyed butler passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Cocktail hour bites included:

Brie wrapped in strawberry leather, basil, candied pecans and balsamic glaze

Fruit del mar salad on the half-shell with fennel salsa

Filet of beef with scallions, gorgonzola garlic mousse rosettes on mini toast

Miniature wild mushroom pan pizzas with mozzarella

Fingerling potatoes stuffed with camembert, truffle oil, and spring onion

Local root beer glazed pork belly, green apple slaw on a sweet corn cake

Following cocktail hour, guests moved to Deer Zinc Pavillion for an exclusive dinner party. The room was adorned in lime green linens and striking black accents. Indy Chamber’s goal of attracting and entertaining creatives in Indianapolis was clearly evident in their highly design oriented approach to the evening.



As guests stepped into the green vibrant lights of Deer Zinc they were easily in awe of the grander the evening presented.

Our menu for the evening shows just how creative and accommodating Kahn’s Catering can be. Believing greatly in Indy Chamber’s mission to keeping Indianapolis a creative environment, we used our culinary expertise to develop a menu meant to impress, satisfy, and inspire.


Salads were preset at each place setting featuring field greens with blue cheese, toasted pecans, pears, and honey dijon mustard dressing wrapped in a cucumber ring along with assorted rolls and flatbreads accompanied by french butter and herb sun-dried tomato butter. The theme of creativity continued throughout the evening with a due entree featuring both chicken and beef entrees of cider marinated chicken breast with molasses chipolte glaze and porcini crusted filet o beef with pink pepercorn brandied demi-glace served with creamy polenta with goat cheese and haricot vert with stem on carrots. Finishing the meal with a creamy and sweet chocolate hazelnut tower.



With a nationally known keynote speaker, fine cuisine and a breathtaking backdrop the Indy Chamber Annual Event awed and inspired the many that attending reigniting the creative fire not only in us, Kahn’s Catering, but in our many other business peers throughout the city.
