Newfields Wedding: Michelle & Nawar

This Indianapolis wedding ceremony and reception was a splendid balance of modern trend and classic elegance! We have seen Randolph H. Deer Special Events Pavilion Events Pavilion at Newfields decorated in so many unique ways – including as a night club for a surprise birthday party! With its neutral tones, wood grain interiors, and ample natural lighting it matches nearly any event color palate, but Michelle and Nawar’s gold and cream reception may be one of our favorites. 

The white arches of the Formal Gardens are Newfields have been witness to many Indianapolis weddings. Regardless, each wedding is so special and unique. Couples can work with their florist to decorate the arch in a way that suites their style and can also usually tie their ceremony decor into their chairs as well. It’s touches like this that create an overall experience for guests to enjoy.

From start to finish, the event was smooth. Their helpful planner, Jessica with Eventful Planning, kept the day moving along as the couple enjoyed their evening ceremony followed by cocktail hour and their reception. Timing for this event was very important as some of the guests were fasting. With that in mind, the couple selected a later ceremony time so that their dinner service would sync better with when guests would be able to enjoy their meals.

Torched apple bruschetta with fig, brie and balsamic reduction

Filet of beef, scallions, gorgonzola garlic mousse rosettes, mini toast

Moroccan chicken satay, ginger mango chutney

First Course
Spinach and frisee, strawberries, mandarin oranges, almonds, strawberry poppy seed vinaigrette

Second Course
Duo entrée of
Garlic & herb marinated breast of chicken, lemon butter sauce, citrus basil relish
Porcini crusted filet of beef, sherry wine demi glace

Served with
Asparagus, pine nuts, sundried tomato butter & Gruyere & leek potato gratin

Third Course
Almond cake, amaretto butter cream
Lemon cake, raspberry coulis filling, lemon butter cream
Almond cake, blackberries, goat cheese butter cream
