Event Specialists
With Kahn’s Catering, the service starts well before the meal is ever prepared. Kahn’s Catering is fortunate to have on staff some of the most sought after event professionals in the city. Recognizing that each client is unique, our Event Specialists work closely and tirelessly to achieve each client’s vision. Owner
Meet our founder, Joe Husar. If you have a love of fine food and entertaining, you likely share Joe Husar’s abundant passion for gathering friends and family around the table to enjoy the best gourmet food and drinks the world has to offer. Joe is the owner of Indianapolis-based Kahn’s Catering and its Family of Companies including the Montage, Vine & Table, and three Indianapolis museum cafés.

Joe’s years of experience with the finest restaurants, caterers and hotels in both Indianapolis and Chicago make him a foremost expert in the art of entertaining, food quality and world-class service. His knowledge and expertise has made him a valuable and loved part of the community for over 30 years. He has been a part of many key business openings, special events and fundraisers throughout his career. He has had the opportunity to host many of Indianapolis’ most notable events and serve distinctive guests from around the world including international dignitaries and U.S. Presidents.

Operations
It takes expertise, dedication and a lot of hard work to turn vision into reality, and it is the Kahn’s Catering Operations team that has the unparalleled depth and proficiency to do just that for all our events as well as the daily running of our museum cafés. From the top on down, the operations team addresses everything from the big picture to the smallest detail. With a trained eye, the VP of Food & Beverage is hands-on with his team reinforcing the highest standards of the industry. Side-by-side with him is the Food & Beverage Director who brings a wealth of knowledge to Indianapolis event management with his many years’ experience throughout the USA as a senior level hotel event manager, administrator of hospitality programs, a training mentor and a hospitality advisory board member as well as personally serving three US Presidents and two US Vice Presidents. Adding in the rigor and efficiency of our Set-up Manager and his in-house trained staff ensures that we will walk into any space and successfully execute a smooth and finessed event for every client.

Culinary Team
Beginning their careers as graduates of the American Culinary Arts Academy, the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and the Art Institute of Indianapolis, our executive chefs’ culinary talents were recognized early and their combined work experience prior to joining Kahn’s Catering include key positions at Bonefish Grill, Arizona Biltmore Spa & Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, a Wolfgang Puck Café, Oakley’s Bistro and JW Marriot.

Bringing their exceptional talents to the Kahn’s Catering kitchen, our chefs continually monitor the market for only the highest quality produce, beef, seafood, spices and more. Managing their culinary staff, our chefs finely craft meals using unique and high-end ingredients. All of our stocks, sauces and dressing are made from scratch, the dishes are fashioned to be as beautiful as they are tasty and the courses are carefully paired for perfection. Marketing
Kahn’s Catering is just as busy behind the scenes with an administrative staff that includes an experienced marketing department. This is a small team of inspired and skilled individuals dedicated to communicating all of the art of entertaining products and services offered by the Kahn’s Catering Family of Companies using the latest platforms and technologies.
